Album Notes
'Purgatory Road' represents the raw, classic rock inspired intensity of the full Whiskey Rodeo experience.
Recorded entirely in our studio in New Braunfels, Texas from November 2012 through February 2013.

Some Production Notes:
--100% of the guitar on the CD was performed by Chase on his 1991 Ovation Adamas Acoustic.. Yup, even the wild electric tones!
--The tracks were performed as a band with minimal overdubbing to truly capture our sound as a group.
--The drums were miced using the 'Glynn Johns' method so popular in the 1060's & 1970's with groups like Led Zeppelin, the Who, The Beatles, Stones and many others. This gives the sound a live, organic feel.. Think RAW.
--The backup vocals were all recorded together as a live section in stereo, and many of the tracks include the laughter, banter, and other silliness that went on during the sessions.
--Absolutely NO auto-tuning or sound replacement was used on this CD. It's so popular and pervasive in today's music and we truly HATE that stuff!

We are all very proud of "Purgatory Road" and promise that you'll love & identify with this outing!
