Album Notes

A Symphony of Fire, the debut recording by The Whiskey Theory, delivers 11 guitar-driven melody-heavy tunes that somehow span diverse subjects like the last party before the world ends (This Is Where The Fun Begins), to the blind devotion of a parent (Follow), to a heavenly message from a recently deceased friend (Way Up Here), and make it work like a finely crafted cocktail.

Built around singer-songwriter Danrik Woods, who has worked and performed with talent as diverse as Carole King, modfather Paul Weller and Atlanta rapper Big Floaty, The Whiskey Theory enlisted a broad spectrum of musicians whose resumes include Guns and Roses, The New York Dolls, Bad Co. and Swedish rockers Serenade For June. All these musicians lend a talented hand in creating the darkly humorous, sometimes poignant, rock and roll funfest that is A Symphony of Fire.
