Album Notes

Creating unique and captivating songs just outside the box of traditional folk/rock, The Whispering Tree have been spreading their music to the world since forming in London in 2006.

Classically trained singer and songwriter, Eleanor Kleiner, has lent her distinctive vocals to a wide array of genres and projects, from electronic to opera, and has been broadcast internationally to an audience that numbers in the billions as the voice of the 2006 West Asian Olympic Games and the 2007 Asian Olympic Games. She met her musical soul mate, French bassist/composer, Elie Brangbour, while at music school in London. Together, they formed The Whispering Tree, playing their debut show at famed rock venue, "The Borderline."

Relocating to New York, they recruited the talents of some of NY’s finest musicians and independently released their seven-song EP, "The Whispering Tree," in July 2007. Since then, The Whispering tree have been captivating audiences around the world with their remarkably original set, performing in the US, UK, Martinique (FR), and Macau, where Elie and Eleanor were featured performers at the grand opening of the Venetian Macau Hotel and Casino.
