ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Songwriter and neoprogressive rock keyboardist Matt Hopkins\' newest project Tunisia, fuses dark electronica with a harmonious fusion of Eastern European styles, Middle Eastern and African beats overlayed with haunting female vocalists. The band Whispers of the Dragon has been compared to Dead Can Dance, Stellamara, and Azam Ali, in style, which brings together a variety of ethnic instruments and styles on the album. The album blends alternating styles of world fusion with a more traditional approach of Balkan/Gypsy music while showcasing the two female vocalists. In a word \"Dark Gyspy\".
