Heather Rose, whose musical vehicle is known as the White Roses, was born in the year of the last great San Francisco earthquake (1989), and she has been rocking ever since. At the age of 6, she played the part of Elvis Presley in a Rock n’ Roll musical at the local community theater in her native Half Moon Bay, California. She sang Hound Dog in a gold lame suit, fit for The King. It suited her well.
A multi-talented musician, Heather plays acoustic and electric guitar, bass, piano, synthesizers, saxophone and percussion. Her main instrument is however her voice which can range from uncanny Grace Slick like rockers to Joni Mitchell style folk songs, and many genres in between. She is a true musical chameleon easily moving between rock, pop, blues, jazz, classical and even new age songs. These diverse skills are on full display in her initial album, White Roses.
Heather Rose is currently based in Boston, Massachusetts attending the prestigious Berklee College of Music on a songwriting scholarship.
This version of the album was mastered with a full dynamic range in the vintage sound tradition of Rock n' Roll albums of the 1960's.
