This project preserves good mountain music. With origins of Grayson County, Virginia, the 13 song CD offers
vocals and instrumentals typical of this region, expertly done in true mountain style! Every song gives the listener
a place in this most wholesome picture of mountain life.
The group is centered in Galax, Virginia where the largest and most famous Fiddlers' Convention is held annually in August. The olde-time music presented here brings that stage of sound to your listening area-home,car,
or wherever!
Originally released in 1991, the spirit of the group is driven by tradition spanning back to our forefathers and
what they brought from their country of origin. Yet the music is timeless and is carried on by new generations that play and sing well. The music is the same.It invites you to experience its flavor of cool nights,laurel bushes,
and stories retold.
