Album Notes

The White Trash Cowboys are best known for their bombastic, rock plus rap approach, blending a Molotov cocktail of Aerosmith meets Kid Rock, with an added American Redneck perspective.

The Cowboys were formed by Bryan Simons and Terry Martin who grew up together in Longview, TX. In their earlier days they used to jam and write songs (as early as 5th grade), but never played in the same band together. A phone call from Bryan started the bang in Fall of 2000; forming the beginnings of the White Trash Gang.

After several years of playing live shows they decided to go into the studio and record a debut 12 song CD. They started tracking the first songs in November of 2006. In February of 2007, Bryan met up with Bobby Blotzer (drummer for RATT), and he produced an additional six songs. Bobby Blotzer also played drums on six of the songs.

The result is a combination of vintage Rock N' Roll mixed with Kid Rock style vocals. It is unique in its' sonic blendings of both old and new.

Voted best New Rock Artist of 2007 by Crooked Bastard Music.
