Album Notes

This hard rock act, is one of Transylvania's Finest. So many stories, inside this story. This new release has finally got the band some attention. No one can deny the fact, that this album, has gold all over it... Lead guitarist Doug Lehman, has been compared in many ways, to the late Randy Rhoads. Drummer Carl Berry, is easily, pound for pound, the hardest hitting drummer, in the business. Lead vocalist/frontman "uncle Jeff",Pittinger has always idolized Alice,Ozzy, and Frank Zappa. chasing the dream for 20 some years, without losing it along the way, is quite a feat in itself. the moral of this story is, Some dreams are not meant to manifest themselves, until they are meant too... If you yearn for big catchy vocals, with very clever hooks, and wicked guitar solo's, and thump'in ass drums and bass work, you will love this band. You can even understand all the words, on this album,(which is really rare these days!) If your into bands, that have singer's that you can't even understand what the hell their even say'in, then this albums probably not for you...Heaven forbid you might learn something!

Great stuff!!! "Slaughter in Salem" is how finely crafted metal should be; timeless. I remember you guys from back in the day hearing the old demo on WQSU and seeing the band somewhere in Lock Haven, PA. This is a great follow up to "The Power" CD. Now how about releasing that old original demo on CD?
