Superb album, shown at its best on Track 1 "Alibi" - surely, almost defining the perfect country songz? - and a great showcase for JW's versatile range. I dare your pulse not to quicken on that first kick-ass bass thump as our boy winds his sinuous voice around the chorus's "O-h-h, why? Don’t give me that sigh", ending with a velveteen murmured "Don’t give me that alibi". A stunner and a singer to watch.

I was amazed that this was a first effort. The production was excellent and the songs were truly inspired. I liked it so much I've bought several copies as Christmas presents for friends. I highly recommend this CD.

This is one of those rare CD's where the ladies get to hear what they always wanted a guy to say. And the men, when they hear it say, that's what I want to say to my girl. Great stories you can visualize, some with a touch of humor and you find yourself singing along by the second listening. Can't want for the next one and the one after that.
