This mini album has been 6 months in the making, even though it was recorded in one hit, in one day. One of England's best-undiscovered bands. This CD sees Whoremoan blast their way through 9, stoner rock influenced, power-riff gems. The production on this CD is to die for, crisp, loud & with a power that'll make your teeth hurt. Recorded in 2004 Whoremoan finalise 6 of their back catalogue tracks (after having gigged them for the last 5-10 years) and give us 3 new masterpieces (Until the Water, Capri & Holes in the Ground). It's the definitive Whoremoan shiny CD you've all been waiting for.
INCLUDES VIDEO FOR "HOLES IN THE GROUND" TOO.

Holy f**king sh*t....wow. Never heard of these guys before, but was checking out ebay and heard the free sample and bought the album straight away. Why these guys have not been thrusted into superstonedom of rock is beyond me. They rock as hard as Nebula or Hermano or perhaps harder...i sh*t you not. I can not believe music of this quality is almost buried and unheard of...dig it up, bring it to the surface and play...ITS A REAL TREASURE. I guarantee stoner fans would not have wasted their money on this gem....BUY IT NOW!! Well done guys!!.

No nonsense riffs and nothing short of stunning
author: Kev Sibley
If you've ever heard WHOREMOAN before, then you may as well stop reading here as you already know how good they are. Chances are you've already bought this anyway!.
For those of you left, Whoremoan describe themselves as influenced by stoner rock bands such as Kyuss. If you like heavy guitars, you'll love this CD!.
"Youth Must Dare" is a sort of compilation of some of their best songs and a few brand spanking new ones chucked in for good measure. However, the oldies have all been re-recorded and given a new coat of gloss and the results are nothing short of stunning.
Kicking off with two songs from the "Head On" EP ", "Killer Gorilla" goes straight for the throat with no-nonsense riffs and this sets the tone for the rest of the album & "Hit & Run", perhaps one of the more commercial tracks on offer here, will have you on your knees - air guitar in hand.
However, my own personal highlights on the CD are "Capri", a cowbell-laden beast of a track and "Holes In The Ground", for which a free video (accessible via yr PC) is also thrown in - at no extra cost!
It's a total bargain. Get this in and why not stock up on other WHOREMOAN releases? Unfortunately, my favourite track "New Sun Forming" is not included here so go and buy the "Anthinthism" cd as well. You knows it makes sense!.

Endless wellspring of energy
author: Keith "MuzikMan" Hannaleck
With a name as ummm…upfront as Whoremoan this band will most definitely get some attention, some positive and some negative, it does not matter really, because causing a stir is exactly what they want! Their music speaks for itself so having such an in your face provocative name was not necessary, nevertheless that is what they chose to use take it or leave it. I can think of more names that are not as appealing, like Cannibal Corpse for instance, and their records sell too. Alas, Youth Must Dare to get what they want and this band has it all, reckless abandon, lyrics that are biting and dark, an endless wellspring of energy, a rawness and excitement rarely found- the entire package.
This is a “Killer Gorilla” sound no doubt in my mind…the guitar playing is as hard as nails and the vocals pound their message home with a tough aggressiveness that is excitingly forceful. My favorite track is “Capri,” it’s the most melodic and catchy track on the entire CD, although it’s filled with plenty of hooks it maintains a strong and surging energy. This CD has been in rotation in my stereo for a month now and I like it more each time I play it. It is indeed a welcome form of repetition, I must say.
The sound on this recording is clear, crisp and powerful. Every track is hammered home with authority. The work that went into the mastering of this disc is obvious right from the outset of the first song. That precedence is set and then maintained throughout the entire run of this CD. Like metal? You will love this band.
