Album Notes

As of Summer 2007, the members of this Western Massachusetts band are ages 11 to 13, going into 6th, 7th and 8th grades. This is their debut recording as Who Shot Hollywood, though as "Bullseye" in 2006, they self-released the EP "Duck Taped Shut", and played shows with The Fray, Throwing Muses and Ted Leo And The Pharmacists. In the Spring 2007 Magnet magazine, Ted Leo called the band "amazing" and says they sound like "...if Guided By Voices wrote longer songs, or the Pixies wrote shorter ones". From an article on the band in the June 23, 2007 Boston Phoenix: "The polished songs on the Who Shot Hollywood EP don't sound like the work of such a young band...". From the same article, lead singer Lucas Kendall says "...there's enough bands writing generic love songs. I like bands like Tokyo Police Club, who have more abstract ideas."
