The Wicker Men create music that speaks from deep within. With instruments from many cultures, they blend their voices, to paint a sound all their own. With influences of Druid imagery, folk storytelling, rhythm of rock, and the passion of the gypsies, their dynamic music will both make you dance and soothe your soul with lullabies. ****** ~Patience Yanderling, 33, from Los Angeles, Ca., is a multi-instrumentalist /singer songwriter that primarily plays a double necked six and twelve stringed guitar. His lyrics and vocal style range from haunting depths, like that of the Guto Monks, to epic ballads that whisk you away to another time. ****** ~Hojji Firemaker, 32, from Nevada City, Ca., is a drummer/multi percussionist that also plays a unique angelic sounding 'bell harp', of his own creation. His style spans from fluttering harmonic tickles to intense primal power. ****** Together they are THE WICKER MEN, who have enchanted audiences at their home in Nevada City, Ca., and at venues along the west coast.

author: MorgenI saw The Wicker Men at Faerieworlds Festival 2008. I was so moved by their music! Nothing beats their live performance, but the cd is outstanding!
