Album Notes

The Wiggle Wagons are a band that brings music into a new era. Featuring the songs of Daniel Grigg and the shredding lead guitar of Bud Burke, a fresh sound has emerged that combines the influences of Buck Owens, Gram Parsons and Metallica.

After leaving rural North Carolina for opportunities out West, singer/songwriter Daniel Grigg arrived in San Jose, California with tales of hardship and loss, only to experience more heartbreak and big city blues. To keep his life on track, Daniel began to weave his experiences into songs of addiction, betrayal and Southern Pride.

Meanwhile, Bud Burke, studio musician, guitar teacher, and metal performer was touring as a bass guitarist. Bud brought his vocal harmonies, lightning fast chops, and distinctive twang to create an innovative new sound that has attracted fans of musical genres across the spectrum.

Daniel and Bud began working with longtime San Jose musician Mark Sharp on bass and Punk-Rock drummer Adam Bishop, giving the band a sound that is best described as COUNTRY SHRED!

The band's name, The Wiggle Wagons, derives from an old term used by truckers to refer to a tractor pulling multiple trailers. The name fits perfectly for a band possessing a powerful new sound that takes its audience to a dangerous edge and loves to be on the road.

At The Wiggle Wagon's show, you’ll always find a mix of cowboy hats, baseball caps, leather jackets and spiked hair. This combination of fans has referred to the Wagons as a resurgence of Classic Rock in the South Bay attibuted to the combination of the dulcet voice of Grigg and Bud’s lightning fingers moving uncannily across his guitar.

The Wiggle Wagons recently captured their unique sound on their new independent album titled "Loaded Up and Truckin", available now.

Had I not walked into Paramount Imports one evening, I would never have heard the WW's. My large circle of friends are being exposed and nothing but positive feedback. Keep it up guys.

Every track on "loaded up and Truckin" is radio ready and just rocks. You can tell these guys spent a lot of time listening to metal as well as old country. "Man in Black" screams of even Dick Dale surf. The guitar playing is superb and the singer has great range. The vocal harmonies are very nice as is the rhythem section. Anyone who is a fan of just good music should pick this up. You will be a new fan of the Wiggle Wagons and this great cd.
