Growing up with the sounds of Windham Hill artists, and Phil Keaggy's "Beyond Nature", Dave Wike has always had an interest in acoustic finger-style.
The beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Dave's hometown of Roanoke VA inspired a good deal of his first project "Waiting". But after settling in Greenville SC with his wife and kids, he found new inspiration in them, out of which flowed the current project "Still Waters".
Dave's foremost desire for his listeners is "...peace which transcends all understanding..."

STILL WATERS
author: WILLIAM HEFFELFINGER
A friend gave me this CD as a gift and I listen to it each morning during my commute into Washington. It is the perfect music to bring peace to the chaos of dealing with traffic and getting ready for another day at work. I enjoy this CD so much that I have bought copies for every member of my family for Christmas.

Dave...thank you! What a gift you have. My only regret is that I don't have our Father's beauty of creation ready at hand at a moments yearning like I do the music you've created. Thank you for giving me the inspired sense to 'create' His beauty within my mind when I listen to you play.

I've listened to Dave's first CD, Waiting, hundreds of times and love it, but Still Waters is even better. I just got a copy today and have been listening to it for hours straight. It's great background music for when I'm reading and studying. I love it and highly recommend it.
