It started out as a few favors between frequent band mates. A guitar track here, a vocal track there. Shortly thereafter, it became apparent that the man with the Telecaster, Wilkes, had the musical sensibilities, heart, shared influences, and the voice to bring out the best in the songwriter’s material.
