18 Year-old Will Bowen To Release Second CD in Less Than One Year

Fresh-faced and still in high school, 18 year-old singer/songwriter Will Bowen has already shown the music industry that he's got the grit and determination to go up against the big boys. What they may not know yet is that he's got the vocal chops and songwriting ability to match all that.

It's not just that Will Bowen is 18. Any teenager with a computer and some spare change in their pocket can release a CD these days. But Bowen is mature beyond his years, and he's about to prove that to the world with the release of This Lonely Mile, his second CD in less than twelve months. While not in the studio, Bowen has shared the stage with such artists as John Mayer, the Counting Crows, Blessid Union of Souls, Art Alexakis of Everclear, Marc Broussard, Graham Colton, Rusted Root, Gin Blossoms, Franky Perez, Ari Hest, The Lost Trailers, Michael Stanley and many many more.

A songwriter since the age of eleven, Will Bowen tells stories like John Mayer, grooves like Dave Matthews, and with his full band rocks like Train or Vertical Horizon. Bowen paints a picture like someone twice his age, and has a powerful, resonant voice to go along with melodic, hook-laden music.

As teen pop stars become more and more common, artists that write songs and perform like they are much older tend to stand out. Such is the case with Will Bowen, and industry representatives took notice when he showcased at the Nashville New Music Conference earlier this month. Now, with the new release, they will watch the next progression in what promises to be a blossoming career.
