My music has been described in the New York Times as "brillaint and "dazzling.I was a highly celebrated "avante garde" composer in New York  decades ago. More recent works (included in this volume) are lyrical,funny,quite accessible.My web site says it all. This is the first of about 30 cd's representing my total output from the last 50 years .One musicologist described my works as a "minihistory of western classical music in the last half of the 20th century
