Mark Williams, just turned 13 years old and was born in the Pocono Mts. of Pennsylvania how much can you say. Mark demonstrated his music interest at the age of 3. Born into a family of non-musicians, his parents awkwardly followed his lead and Mark has been leading ever since. Mark's music life has been the result of combined advice from every musician that has ever touched the family's life. His biggest thrill of his life is to have been able to play along with BB King on December 1 2004 at the BB King Club in Nashville, TN. as an invited audience guest. Mark has taken lessons from both rock and jazz influenced instructors. He attended for 2 years the Manhattan School of Music playing both the guitar and the keyboards. Already he has had major influences in his life as his style continues to be shaped and sharpened. At the age of 9 Mark started to personally break into the entertainment field, making his mom drive to places and while she waited in the car, Mark would secure gigs much to her amazement. Mark pursues both his rock and jazz interests with fever. Mild mannered at home, he rocks on stage, and sends the crowd into frenzy of cheers. Mark has played with Tommy Sims to open up for B.B. King, has stunned New Orleans playing with the outside Cafe bands and with Charmaine Neville at Snug Harbor. He has been part of the Sarasota Jazz Festival for 2 years and the youngest member of Celebration of the Arts in Delaware Water Gap, PA. Nicknamed The Thrill at BB Kings Blues Club in Nashville, Mark shies away from the name. Mark has performed the Star Spangle Banner for the Vanderbilt Commodores and played for the Tennessee Titans. At the age of eleven he performed weekly all summer for a local resort in the Poconos of PA. Mark's Jazz Music is an endorser of American Archtop Guitars. These guitars are handmade by Dale Unger. Mark is part of his own 2 groups that he started, Good Idea (rock)with close friend and rockin musician Tyler Unger and Jazz Times Two, a jazz duo with Najwa Parkins, an outstanding vocalist and bassist. Mark released his first Jazz Album in 2004 at the young age of 12. Mark, a Little Leaguer, co wrote a funky baseball song that he recorded and now is being played at Yankees Tampa Legend Field among others. THE GAME I LOVE is an upbeat stadium song loved by kids of all ages getting the crowd to dance and sing. Be part of Mark's Musical Life and continue to watch him grow,
