Stan Williams began playing guitar at age 12. A variety of styles have influenced his playing over the years, but most recently he’s been developing a style that is more melodic in nature employing the use of alternate tunings and capo combinations. Stan's music has been described as soothing and meditative ... "a relaxing blend of original celtic style music and timeless hymns."


Stan Williams:

Stan Williams was born in Colorado , grew up at Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri and has lived in Republic, not far from the hills of Branson, Missouri since 1978. As a sophomore in high school he joined an instrumental band that cut two vinyl LPs, songs from which got radio play on stations in Missouri and Illinois. Later he would play guitar with groups whose styles ranged from bluegrass to Christian rock.

In addition to playing the six-string guitar, Stan also plays 12-string guitar and some banjo. He has both composed and arranged a number of songs for Fingerstyle guitar.
