Tony Williams is a legendary saxophonist based out of Philadelphia which has been considered to be a "Mecca" of jazz. He has traveled and toured the nation, Europe and Asia. His sound and style has been compared to those jazz saxophonist greats as "Cannonball", Coltrane, and Stanley Turrentine.

Tony Williams also was a part of the band that did the music for Bill Cosby's TV show. Near-perfect technique, inspired phrasing, tastefully executed. An elegant offering from a man who's personal integrity and stolidity infuses this music with confidence and competence. I say this because I've known Tony Williams since I was a budding musician in middle school. He lives for this music and approaches it with equal parts joy and committment. I can hear it throughout this recording. Impressive.
