Album Notes

Willie Blount born in Panama, Panama City. He began singing at the age of five with Church Choirs. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the early age of ten. Willie has a voice that's very unique as well as the spirit of Job and David. He has blessed various congregations with his anointed voice.

Willie is known locally in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area, nationally and internationally. In 1984, he sang with the late great Rev. Dr. Donald Vails in the voices of Victory, then he recorded in 1996, "My Soul Love Jesus" Which was the title of the album. He also had the opportunity to sing and travel with Stacey Lattisaw-Jackson and has toured to Paris, France with Freddie Jackson, and D.C.'s own Tanya Blount, which is his sister! Also, Greg O'Quinn.

He recently had an opportunity to minister in song at the prestige's Washington Times -Arbor Ballroom, where he blessed so many people. Willie is a member of the Empowerment Temple A.M.E. Church in Baltimore Maryland, where the fine Pastor is the Rev. Dr. Jamal Harrison Bryant. Willie is also a family man, he is married to the beautiful Nickie Blount and has two magnificent children, Joshua and Azariah. He strongly believes in Philippians 4:13, "I Can Do All Things Through Christ Which Strengthenth Me!
