Album Notes

I was born in Scotland, started playing the guitar at 8. Discovered I had an "Ear" for music. Played all over Scotland with the band Legal Tender,& wrote the songs, sang lead vocals/harmonies. I play accoustic guitar/bass/electric, and banjo/ mandolin/flute, and harmonica. I loved the Eagles/Dan Folgelburg, the harmony groups from the 70's & 80"s. Take those groups, throw in a wee bit of traditional Celtic/Scots and that's a bit of my style. My goals are in writing great songs for name artists, and also writing/scoring for films. I must confess, my dream is to score a film.

Accomplishments:
I have had 3 of my instrumentals taken by a publisher for film/TV.

In an industry overloaded with slick production, wannabees, sequels and derivatives, Sound of the Sea is truly an original work. I have newly discovered Willie McCulloch's tender and magical art. I hope you will, too.
