Willie P Bio
The Blues world welcomes both a new artist and a new label. Willie P comes onto the blues scene from Little Rock, Arkansas, courtesy of newly formed label, Twin Records. Born in the small city of Cottonplant, Arkansas, Willie began singing at an early age in the choir of his father's church. From there, he developed a love for gospel music. At the same time, he was being exposed to Rhythm & Blues and eventually began to perform popular songs as well.
It wasn't long before he began headlining local shows and demanding the attention of the local music scene. He was soon encouraged to move to Little Rock where he could increase his audience. Since then, Willie has gone on to perform shows with such artists as J. Blackfoot, Kenney Wayne, Mel Waiters, Pat Brown, and Vernon Garrett. The Arkansas Blues Society recognizes Willie P as one of its brightest stars as he is often the toast of the local blues scene.
This talented singer-songwriter has enough fire in his voice to convince you that he's been in the game for a long time and after hearing him for yourself, you'll see why he's considered to be "southern-soul's" next superstar.
His debut CD, "CALLER I.D.", has already yielded two smash hits, "Caller I.D." and "Shake It Fast," which is based on rapper, Mystikal's smash hit from a year earlier. This record continues to catch on as new singles are added to radio stations all over the southern U.S. weekly. (The single, "Shake It Fast) is currently among the top ten records on "The Boogie Report.com" and is still playing heavily on "American Blues Network.com" Other songs that are currently getting attention include, "Get Yourself Together" and "Special Lover."
With a CD that's jammed pack with hit singles and an electrifying stage show, Willie P. is destined to become a blues legend, with this CD becoming an instant classic.
Added radio stations include:
American Blues Network.com; PSR Radio Network; ABC Network, WMPR; WODT; KOKY; KIPR; KTOY; WTYJ; WBSL; WSLY; WJZD; WTOT; WQZZ; WACR; KNON; KZRB; WATV; WAPZ; WGNL; KCLT; WKXN; WZHT; KVEE, AND WDIA.

Outstanding singer performer and song writer!
author: Marvin JonesWillie P. Caller I.D. is totally awesome. The I.D. should stand for intelligently dynamic! I first heard songs from this CD on June 16th, 2007 at a Juneteenth gathering. Caller I.D. is T-totally bad, Shake It Fast gets down to the grass roots of what blues songs dirived from, shaking, boogie down and just plain grooving to smoothing blues. Get Yourself Together is great too, but personally I think Give My Love To You should have already been a hit song from the Caller I.D. CD.
It's grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!!!
author: DOTI have listened to blues for as long as I can remember (all of my life). Therefore, I know good blues music. Willie P.'s "Caller I.D." is bad to the bone!!! If he keeps at his work, I think that he's going to go far in the blues industry. I am going to tell everybody in Alabama about Mr. Willie P.

I have this CD and it is Hott!
author: Robert HughesMan Willie P is what's happening! I purchased his CD and bought it for other family members that I thought would like it. I knew that my dad would love it. What was so surprising to me is that my younger neices are crazy about Willie's music too. What's up with that? I think that there is a little something for everyone on this album. I'm a DJ and people pack the floor on Shake it Fast. You can't loose with this one! Big Ups to Twin Records for bringing this one to our attention.
