Album Notes

Life Anew – this is something that I’ve been given. The gift of starting over can happen every year, every day, every hour or every minute – but it is a gift. These songs speak to that gift in many different ways. My faith had grown weary. My trust had worn thin. My doubts had eroded my defenses. But through it all, I still knew that I was being cared for – that even in my darkest places, I had been forgiven. I remembered my confirmation verse from Psalm 50:15 “Call upon Me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you and you will give Me glory.” So I called – and continue to call – and each time I call, I feel the peace of knowing that God has delivered me. And I am grateful and humbled by that act.

I am not any better than anyone else. My struggles are no greater than anyone else’s. My sins are just as bad as anyone’s. I am in no position to judge another person. But I need to show God’s love by example. Life Anew is a part of that example. I hope that people enjoy the music and the messages in these songs.
