Album Notes

Description:

“ A pretty collection of tunes and songs of diverse origin, traditional and contemporary. Both Willson & McKee have clear sweet voices, and apply them to some lovely songs. They are both accomplished and versatile musicians who make the most of their palate. In all, an impressive and expressive disc!”
Steve Winick-Dirty Linen, Apr/May 1996

This is a great cd, with the original version of "The Pattern", the award winning song from the Milwaukee Irish Festival.

On clearance now as we have only a few left and we will no longer be producing these.
Soon to be a collectors item!

Touring since 1990, this husband and wife duo blends breakneck instrumentals with warm harmony vocals, to weave a vibrant experience of texture and fun!
Curiously untamed… they simply don’t fit the expected Celtic mold. Tight harmonies give traditional songs a modern feel and original compositions are given an ancient twist.
A national award for instrumentals as well as International awards for song writing, guarantee a quality of purpose in the music.
All of the duo's recordings were done with the intent that a listener would get the same musical experience as in a Willson & McKee concert. No over production, tasteful arrangements, solid musicianship, and a connection with the music itself.

This completes my collection of the available music of Willson & McKee...not only do they capture the essence of the Celtic culture, but, no two of their presentations are the same. All are a delight to the ear and the toe.

Love harmony and musical blending of Wilson and McKee
author: George Ennis
The Pattern has the usual grest Irish instumentation and vocal harmonies that I have come to expect from Wilson and McKee. The choice of songs covers all the emotions from tears to rousing laughter. The CD just makes me feel good.
