ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This album can change your life. If you want to be happy you can start now.
By listening again and again to Will Powers, by sharing it with others, you are constantly reminding yourself that anything is possible and that it is YOU who can make your life a positive adventure. Every one of your 'problems' is,in fact, your OPPORTUNITY. You can have the life you dream of and you can help others to make their dreams come true. Will Powers will give you techniques that when practiced with humor will result in a fuller, richer, experience of what it really means to be alive. There is no other album like this one. With the support of such legendary musicians like Sting, Steve Winwood, Nile Rogers, Todd Rundgren, Carly Simon, to name a few, Will Powers brings you words and music that will not only make you smile, but make you realize what your smile can do for you. If you don't like this record, I personally will give you your money back. If you do like it, tell others....where there's Will, there's a way!

Classic Rediscovered
Had the vinyl album when it came out ...and in the gradual migration to digital, over time, lost the "will"!
Got it back now though...and it still sounds as great and positive as it did first time around.
Heartily recommended....and great service from the vendor too..

I have loved this album since the 80s -now a CD
This album helped keep me sane when I started my path to spiritual enlightenment. It can do tha same for others.
let's put this back on the Top 10 for a while so that everyone can start dancing for their mental health.
Hallelujah to Will and his gang.

Be Thankful For Your Problem...It's A Gift In Disguise
The moment I put the CD into the player and heard the first few electronic rhythmic notes of Will Powers begin to pump through my speakers, I was instantly transported back to the early '80's....a great time in my life! I noticed a comment earlier about there being a hum throughout. Well, I now own both the vinyl and CD versions and have compared them on high-end audio equipment. I noticed no such hum on the CD. Perhaps they received a defective one and need a replacement. Anyways, Will Powers just "flows" out of your speakers. Everything is so well put together and I can't believe how crisp David Sanborn's sax sounds! Thank you so much for making my "next to impossible to find" CD list that much closer to completion!

It's a great dance cd.
I have been looking for this cd for a long time
and it was worth the wait. It has great music and a
message we can all use.

I love this music
I've loved this CD since its release on vinyl, and its CD reissue makes me ecstatic. I listen to it in the car, the office, anywhere, and it picks me up every time. This is music that should be re-treated with 21st-century performances and production values, but until then the original recording will suit me just fine.

Classic
Some might remember Will Powers for the singles Adventures in Success and Kissing with Confidence, and might dismiss the tracks as curious novelty singles from the early 80s. But that's a great shame, because this album is unique in concept and flawless in execution, and the singles are merely highlights of what is simply an all-time classic recording, of any era (not just the 80s).

An essential CD for any lover of music that is genuinely feel-good, with some gloriously funny moments, but yet has something important to say about inspiration and the power of love - without once resorting to being trite, patronising or saccharine.

And also an essential purchase for anybody with an interest in albums that are truly unlike any other. No real lover of pop music should be without it, as it occupies a space no other recording has ever come close to even approaching.

It's so pure in its mission, and so polished in its sound
Armies can't fix the world, nations are powerless against the terrorists, but projects like Will Powers and music like this can add goodness to the world that can really offset the negativity. There is a lot of human goodness on this CD and it's worth many, many listens.

Ripped From Vinyl
Can't argue with the content - it really is a great album. Unfortunately, this CD has been ripped from vinyl. The 'hum' that previous reviewers refer to is actually surface noise, and there a two loud clicks on track two "Dancing For Mental Health" at 3:45 and 3:47. Lyn Goldsmith owns the copyright to this album so she must know about this. Couldn't the master tapes be sourced Lyn? I feel cheated. Wasting money is bad for your mental health.

I had sort of heard about this on a Todd R website and I was intrigued by the mix of artists. I was completely surprised! It is truly uplifting and amazing, I think the affirmations through out really can change my life, and also, the audio-skits are extremely entertaining, with the great music of course driving it all. If you want to get happy, feel good , and maybe ( I am hoping!) change your ( my!) life, try out this adorable CD
