Album Notes

“Keystone Crossing” is Will Scott’s third album and his second fully-produced studio recording. The album showcases Scott’s distinctive vocals and writing, backed by a hand-picked group of top West Coast musicians: Ben Peeler (Lucinda Williams, Shelby Lynne) Dave Palmer, (Solomon Burke, Chris Isaak), Dave Piltch (KD Lang, Bill Frisell) and Jerry Roe (Jerry Reed, Julianne Hough). Scrote, the album’s producer, supplies electric guitar. Guest performances are provided by Dayna Kurtz and Deacon Jones.

Prime cuts include the soulful ballad Right To Love, written by Jan Bell, You Said You’d Take Me To Spain, a punk-blues rant of lost love, and the exquisite Derry Down featuring guest vocals from Dayna Kurtz. Roots rocker, White River Rising, tells of a flood in Southern Indiana, and Broken Arrow has an alt. country feel reminiscent of Townes Van Zandt.

Will Scott is known for his bluesy voice, distinctive guitar-playing and heartfelt song writing. Blending blues and Americana with a dash of rock and alt. country, Scott's music has captivated crowds worldwide. His energetic, soulful, live performances and acclaimed recordings have made Will Scott one of the most notable artist’s in the blues/roots genre today.
