Biography

William W. Wilson, Jr. Founder, President and Ceo

As the owner of 3W2 Productions, William W. Wilson, Jr. ("Will") is no stranger to the music world. As a youngster in Gary, Indiana he was enrolled at the Norton School and later attended Washington elementary and Westside, where he declared music as his major and participated in the mixed Chorus. His background in music was influenced by his involvement at 20th Century Baptist church where he played the drums from 1966-1972. He has been in numerous talent shows where he won awards as a vocalist. While still a student at Westside High School, he participated in affairs sponsored by local V.F.W.Posts, the I.U. Dons and Donnettes, and a 1993 Channel 5 TV Christmas Special that featured Dennis Edwards and the Temptations.

In addition to his hands-on musical background, he is familiar with the business and technical end of the industry, being an experienced booking agent, talent coordinator, sound and lighting technician and background vocalist. Some of his relatives, such as the late Marvin Yancy, former husband of Natalie Cole, was Will's 2nd cousin. Yancy, who wrote songs for Aretha Franklin, Ronnie Dyson, The Independents, Natalie Cole, and one on "Will's" new "CD" called "Without Christ" which he penned with his brother Kevin Yancy which also serves as "Wills" role models as he pursues his musical Destiny.
