Album Notes

Intense vocal harmonies and eerie arrangements by this father-and-son band combine to make this a hypnotic traditional folk album. "Very highly recommended"--SF Folknik.
Willy Claflin is an award-winning national storyteller and folk musician. His son, Brian, is a songwriter who has collaborated with Nancy Griffith. These ballads, which range from 16th century mummer's songs to contemporary Americana, have been in the Claflin family for a long time, but this is the first time they've been recorded. A haunting, mesmerizing vocal duo.
