Album Notes

This CD is a true labor of Love, not only by me, but for all involved in this project. Johnny Cash is my HERO and this is a lifelong wish to play tribute to him in this way.
When my first album "We're Gonna Rock" came out in 2003, the first copy I sent to anyone was Johnny Cash. I recorded two of his songs on it
and I am glad I was able to share it with him. I had the honor of meeting Mr. Cash several times over the years, he always took time out for me and those times will always remain special. I was moved to write a song about him, which appears on this album, "Johnny Cash-The Man In Black"

I hope you will enjoy the classics he gave us. On October 11, 2003 I was honored to appear at Overton Park Shell in Memphis backed up on drums by W.S. Holland, Johnny's drummer from 1960-1996. We performed "BIG RIVER" in his honor~
