ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Recorded Live At Pollen8 Studio's @ de bees music bar by Paul Wilkes for Pollen8 Productions

Rising star 'Wilson Minds' joins the new darlings of South Africa 'Africa Entsha' to rework this classic, some great new ideas from boys from Soweto.
25 years on for Paul Simon's Graceland , what better way to celebrate both the work and the changes in South Africa than to find 4 young South Africans from the Johannesburg Township having fun in a small studio in the UK with one of the UK's brightest prospects.

Wilson Minds is the new prodige of producer Chris Potter (The Verve). His debut album due for release 2013.
Africa Entsha are a sensation, their new album 'Vumani Bo Red Lion' and single 'Oh Darly' were released on Pollen8 August 2012. Having stormed festivals all over the UK this year and won over diverse crowds of all ages, they are sure of huge success.

"In a music market saturated with cloned bubblegum pop and industry-peddled garbage, AFRICA ENTSHA are a welcome breath of fresh air. It’s difficult to encapsulate just how ridiculously joyful you are likely to feel when you hear them sing their live acapella numbers…. you can’t bottle this stuff. Writing about their homeland, blessings and feeling good in general, their music is infectious in the loveliest way possible. Using their voices to mimic percussion and bass is utterly incredible and their harmonies are so tight, you can’t help but laugh at the sheer brilliance of it all. These boys are going to be massive. Stop reading this interview and go and see for yourself. Absolutely first class."
