The first full length album from Windborn is an accumulation of composer, Jeff Pike's, musical experience. With a deep history in Central Alberta's hard rock scene Jeff had a drive to stand out with a unique take on the hard rock style. Over 10 years later with Windborn Jeff is now breaking the trends in the "hard rocker" turned "acoustic" scene. Spitting Bullets is a solid album that bridges the gap between the rock and acoustic genres. The guitar is clean and clear with a unique rhythmic riffing style. The vocals do not hold back as they usually do in the acoustic genre. The bass and hand drums supply a groove that takes this music to another level.
