Growing Up is a collection of songs that share the spiritual path God has brought me.
When I was 26 years old a friend shared the Gospel with me and patiently answered my questions. While I did not agree with everything he said at first, through careful investigation and talking with people I trusted, I became convinced that what he said to me was true. So one night I closed the door to my room, sat in a chair and talked to God about it. I expressed my longing to be at peace with Him and to be forgiven for my sins. That was the night I was born again as Jesus says in John 3. I was changed from inside in a way I could not accomplish myself.
This CD has a few unique aspects to it. Track 10 is an audio testimony of how Christ came into my life as my Savior and Lord. The CD is also enhanced with a video that uses the invitation track - place the CD in your computer CD-Rom drawer, close it, and the video testimony plays (if your computer doesn't do that automatically, just browse for invite.avi in explorer and play it).
I do hope folks listen to the Invitation track and/or video and are encouraged to seek God the way I did. He was so kind and merciful - He has saved me and now He continues to guide me day by day. By His grace and through faith I am "Growing Up" in Him.
