Album Notes

Just like her mystical poetry flows with the music in her first CD "Nightsongs", Janet Windglow's life has ebbed and flowed magically over the past thirtysome years. Janet began writing verse as a nine-year- old to express her vibrant joy for life. Over the seasons, her poetry has been published in various journals, anthologies, and websites, including Angel Connections By Lori, and The Sparrowgrass Poetry Forum.

Janet embraced music from and early age as well. She recieved classical training in piano and continues to enjoy playing her own compositions and world music for family and friends. Her favorite musicians include Randall Leonard, Jack Lee, and Lisa Lynne. Pairing these musical artists with her poetic verses helps fullfill Janet's dream to integrate her favorite modes of expression into a healing force.

Janet manifests her passion for life with a devotion to the healing arts- she works privately as a Reiki Practioner, and Watsu Practioner. To capture nature's beauty in two dimensions, Janet enjoys using her Nikon Camera to photograph landscapes and vistas throught her daily life and during her travels around the world. A native of Los Angeles, Janet currenly inhabits her own peaceful paradise in Santa Barbara, California. She founded Starlight Music Productions in 1999 with a vision of bringing love, healing, and beauty to the world.
