Album Notes

The concept of Deep Electric Funk is to bring custom funky sounds to the Club DJ's fingertips. It means having that special funky beat to get the crowd jumping. Listening to Thump, House Funk, and It's the Music illustrates my point exactly, But I also wanted my listeners to experience other emotions that might govern a funky atmosphere. Pleasure Vibes for example is a very sensuous and provocative track. It has a beat you can tap your feet or bop your head to.

The track, "Why the Pain?" is dedicated to the Sept 11, 2001 World Trade Center Disaster. We all felt the pain through the lost of the people who were simply performing their daily routines. I am a ex New Yorker and being within that crowd, I felt the pain at many times.

Who is Robert Windley? I've been involved with computers for the past five years. Two of those years were focused on creating music with my computer. I experimented with program after program, weeding out the unproductive ones until I found the right combinations. The learning experience goes on and on. It never stops. The time I spend producing my electronic music has enhanced my life and has brought me a degree of fulfillment. Music can be the window to our souls and is the universal language, so get up and dance with the beat from my Deep Electric Funk CD.
