ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"From The Asylum" showcases compositions written by various members of Windows, including two beautifully arranged and instantly catchy vocals. "Fly Away," written by Windows’ founding member Skipper Wise and guitarist Derol Caraco, clearly illustrates that Windows has indeed found its voice. This powerful song combines the smooth, seemingly effortless quality of the image-evoking, vintage Windows compositions, with a passionate, bluesy vocal by drummer John Mahon that quite literally soars.

After the tremendous critical acclaim their previous albums "The French Laundry" and "Blue September" garnered, "From The Asylum" further defines Windows as an original and innovative band.
