Album Notes

Eighteen great tracks! Fifteen new songs by Winston Apple and his first cover songs ever: a reggae version of "Imagine," a ska version of "When A Man Loves A Woman," and a reggae-influenced, R&B version of "Louie Louie."
"On My Television" is the soundtrack for a five-minute film that is currently in the pre-production phase. Blues lovers will especially enjoy "Come Back" (inspired by the love story within the Stephen King novel "The Stand") and "Hearts Get Broken." "A Mild, Mellow Case of the Blues" is a rocking R&B number with a rolling rhythm. "Following Orders" will provide food for thought for politically minded listeners. Winston describes "Learn to See Things My Way" as his most auto-biographical song to date, although the lyrics are vague enough to "protect the 'seemingly' innocent." All in all a typical Winston Apple album, touching many bases, reflecting the broad range of his many influences.
