Leonard Cohen's classic song "Hallelujah" has been recorded by over 200 artists, but no one has done it like this. The first and last verses are given a more or less traditional reading, but the remaining verses and the choruses are done in an up-tempo, gospel-flavored style, with traditional rock instrumentation and sax accompaniment on the choruses, a host of heavenly backing vocals and Winston's spirited vocals framing Cohen's contemplative lyrics. This is an exuberant, exhilarating version of a incredibly good song.
