Album Notes

The Winstons is a self-contained band based out of Washington, D.C. that has worked major concert venues all over the country, including The World Famous Apollo Theatre in New York City, Symphony Hall in Newark, New Jersey, The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, Ca., Constitution Hall and Blues Alley in Washington,D.C., The Lyric Opera House and The Fifth Regiment Armory in Baltimore, Maryland and more.
The band was formed by Joe Phillips, former music director/guitarist for The Stylistics, The Delfonics, Eddie Holman, and others.
The Winstons recording of(The New) Electric Slide, have been broadcast, all over the world, on The Bernie Mac Show.
The latest recording, is a tribute to Comedian Bernie Mac, titled, "I Aint Scared Of You Mothers" and features a song called "I Aint Scared Of You". This CD is a lot of fun to listen to, and dance to. The single from the CD is track #9
titled, "CU Later Alligator".
