"Scot sings with heartfelt tenderness and at the same time he has a powerful voice that soars with confidence and emotion. He's an absolute winner when it comes to ballads. Right now cabaret has him, but he's destined for Broadway." -John Hogland, Back Stage
"Scot Wisniewski has everything going for him: a beautiful voice, heartfelt interpretations, an engaging personality, and appealing good looks." -Roy Sander, NYC cabaret critic
"Audiences will want to take notice of Scot's talent."
Barbara & Scott Siegel, Theatermania.com
"My favorite track is a fresh look at "On the Street Where You Live." Scot takes his time with it and creates a character who is more in awe with being on that street where that special someone resides, rather than the usual bursting-with-joy interpretation. It really works. His phrasing shows thought and a sense of wonder. I hope to hear more from him soon. Scot's Way is way ahead of many."
Rob Lester, TalkingBroadway.com
"The word "crooner" comes to mind when thinking about Wisniewski's gorgeously smooth and silky voice. His rendition of Not While I'm Around from Sweeney Todd is simultaneously reassuring and heartbreaking."
ANDY PROPST-The Sondheim Review
___
At a towering six feet eight inches tall, Scot Wisniewski commands your attention. His debut cabaret show titled The Beginning opened in 2002 at the legendary Don't Tell Mama cabaret club in NYC and ran to sell out crowds for three months, a triumph for a debut show. Although Scot would say that his musical training began while he was still in the womb (his mother used to sing to him), his actual training began at age 5 with piano lessons. The rest as they say, is history!
Scot has been singing for as long as he can remember, and has been performing on stage for over two decades. He has been in many regional theater productions, and before moving to NYC sang with the Syracuse Symphony at many concerts in his home of upstate NY. In 2001, Scot was a finalist in Ed McMahon's Internet talent competition The Next Big Star receiving over a million votes for his rendition of This Is The Moment. Scot's unique voice allows him to sing a variety of different genres from Broadway to Jazz to Pop to Old Standards.
A musical theater buff, Scot has always been fascinated with Broadway, and many feel as though he is destined to be on Broadway. Hence came the vision for Scot's second album, Broadway Scot's Way! (His first album titled A Classic Christmas was released in 2003. It is now available via CD baby year round!)
For his new album, Scot has teamed up with the very talented Tim Di Pasqua and Bryon Sommers for a dazzling new array of Scot's favorite Broadway show tunes. The arrangements on the CD are new and different, except when Scot felt it necessary to stick close to the original. The album features three duets; one with NYC cabaret artist Hector Coris and two with Scot's long time friend Kristen Salico.
This is the perfect CD for any Broadway lover! Pick up a copy or two today. It makes an excellent gift!
Scot is a proud member of Actor's Equity Association (AEA), The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA).

Awesome Broadway CD

Fine Broadway collection. Scot's This Is The Moment is a really fresh reading of the inspiring anthem from Jekyll and
Hyde and it's nice to hear a male voice cover Linda Eder's
Someone Like You. Scot's version is simple and heartfelt.
My favorite track is the lovely Sailing beautifully sung by Scot and Hector Coris.

Stunning!

I go to a lot of musicals and I believe Scot to be a most important artist. The easiness of his voice draws you into the music, you feel the passion. I love this album and will be using it for gifts all year long.
