Melancholy, Depressing, Doomy, and pretty damn cool.

Take a huge scoop of My Dying Bride, and 2 cups of the Cure, a teaspoon of elecrtonica, and you'll have yourself a fresh batch of "Origin" by Wither.
The My Dying Bride influence is immediately noticed upon first listen. Every song has been soaked in melancholy and angst, and I say that in a good way.
The clean vocals on this album are just wonderful. Beautiful and sorrowful. The death vocals are good as well. The drumming was a perfect fit for this album. I think my favorite track would be "The Leaving". I can honestly say that I will without a doubt be buying the second release.
P.S. The comparison to Evanessence in the main description is not only totally false, but an insult.
