I play this CD OFTEN and hum some of the songs obsessively. I have heard them play at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield,KS, for two consecutive years and they were the highlight of the festival both times for me. I live in Michigan and drove for two hours to get to their concert when they played in South Haven--I and would have drive longer if necessary. I recommend buying everything they have recorded! As fantastic as the music is, if you see a live show, you will be further stunned at the amazing SHOW they put on, especially Michael, whose moves and expressions would do credit to the old silent movie stars.

Unbelievably good. The BEST live album I've ever heard. Brilliant bass, brilliant guitar, stunningly brilliant harmonica, amazing stuff. This CD goes around and is then followed by more Wiyos. Stunning sound, almost like being there. More more more !

What a refreshing change from the tin-canned music of the present day! When I first saw these guys perform, I was carried back to the 1920s... I imagined myself in a gin-joint, listening to this earthy, mesmerizing band of fine musicians. My father, who grew up listening to this genre of music, was equally transported, and said that the band was the best act he'd seen in a long time. These guys treat their music with such love and authenticity... it's like they stepped out of the vaults of the Smithsonian's Music Library. What a joy!!! By all means, buy their albums (I own and cherish all 3; can't wait for #4)-- but DO go out of your way to see them LIVE-- they are a wonderful act to experience up close and "poysonal"-- they bring Tin Pan Alley to your door!!!
