Album Notes

Ward Jene Stroud

Ward's Mom started teaching him his first chords on the guitar as soon as his fingers could strech around the neck and touch. His earliest memories are of his family sitting around singing, dancin, and jammin on the porch. It wasn't until he was nearly an adult that he discovered his "Native" heritage (Yaqui mexican/indian) through the gift of a flute, that he began a musical/personal journey that literally led him around the world and into the Blues!
Ward has performed globally for audiences of all colors, ages, and sizes! Both solo and with his amazing band. He has soundtrack, theatre, multimedia, film credits, and has multiple recordings (6) selling internationally! For nearly two decades he has taught/crafted/promoted the music he so dearly loves...
