Album Notes

I recorded this cd with my Dad playing the drums. The initial sessions were more or less improvised. The great thing about my Dad's drumming is, he lacks all the bad qualities of modern drummers: overly aggressive, too loud, all flash, no feeling. It took me a year or so to write songs built around those initial sessions. It was a new way to write songs for me, but it was fun and it brought out a side of my writing that was missing in some of my other recordings; a sense of humor, and spontaneity. I wish I could have gotten a little bit better sound overall, but oh well, it's only rock and roll. How many other guys are making cds wtih their dads?
