Combining percussion, the didgeridoo, keyboards, & vocals, they bring to their audiences a complex conversation between instruments, communicating the lives and rituals of women. Drumming is their passion -Inspiring audiences to get up and MOVE as the music moves them. Their music harnesses the raw power of the drum and blends it with the healing, sensual nature of rhythm.

The Women's Percussion Ensemble WombBOOM has 2 CD's - Walk me to the Edge and, IF I TOLD YO. The music is extraordinarily absorbing, engaging, uplifting, sensual, healing, and you can sure dance to it. It is filled with intoxicating rhythm played with West African drums & didgeridoo, weaving beautiful vocals and keyboards through the pieces. Some of the tracks are exclusively rhythm & drums, and other tracks take you on a luscious journey with both improvised soaring vocals and melodic piano/keyboards. It includes both original compositions and re-interpreted traditional world music.
