Album Notes

This award winning band has been rockin' the Dallas/Fort Worth music scene with their driving progressive country sound for several years now. Enlisting the producing talents of Jeff Sturms, currently a member of George Strait's "Ace In The Hole" band and some of Nashville's top writers, the band's self titled debut CD is musically diverse and is a clear reflection of the band's incredible vocals, harmonies, and musicianship. This album truly offers something for everyone. The hauntingly beautiful love ballads "Oh Me Of Little Faith" and "Somewhere I Wanna Go" showcases the band's true talents. The most requested song that the band plays live is a fun, catchy tune "I Didn't I Swear" while "Goin' To A Fire" is a rocking favorite of many W.O.N. fans. The songs on this album were selectively chosen and have a great deal of meaning to the band. This CD is for everyone who enjoys traditional to contempoary pop country. West of Nowhere is progressive country with an edge and will have you listening to the CD again and again.
