"Imagine for a moment that Buddy Holly and Buck Owens had gotten together and written a batch of songs for the Everly Brothers. Then, the Everly's played the material for Gram Parsons who rushed them into the studio along with his mates from The Byrds. The resulting album would have sounded alot like this album." Country Standard Time
"They're so country they make me smile. Think of Rodney Crowell with Emmylou Harris and you'll have the general idea. In addition to being splendidly expressive harmonizers, their songs are dandy. Electric guitars, mandlolins and steel guitar bubble in and our of this terrific country-rock mix. If I ran a label, I'd sign this duo in a heartbeat." Music Row Magazine
Bob Canon, Reviewer for Country Music magazine and Entertainment Weekly says:
"It sounds absolutely great: a touch of Everlys, a dash of Bakersfield, a few Beatle touchs and of course, the voices sound great. The songs are all really strong and Dyann's new haircut is beautiful."
Peter Rodman, Music DJ, Historian and Critic says:
"The real deal is back, and the legend is stronger than ever. 'Teardrops & Diamonds' is THE WOODYS second album. It is an instant country classic, like none since Gram Parsons' own Grevious Angel, released nearly 18 years ago."

Teardrops & Diamonds
author: Bengt Eriksson, Sweden
A great CD. Top Three: 1.Teardrops & Diamonds, 2.Sweeter Than Wine, 3.Hello Heartache. Why I don't give this CD 5 stars is because I compare it with "Telluride To Teneessee" wich I give 5 stars, If I could I give this CD 4,5 stars. See you in Sweden 1-2 August.

LOVED the CD! Diane, I was a friend of your Dad's and went with him to hear you and Michael at someone's home in Lakewood at Christmas time a few years ago. I'm so glad you both are doing so well and hope your Dad is also. My best to all of you.

The CD is excellent. I saw the video from the title track on GAC, wrote down the name of the CD & artist, and proceeded to go about purchasing it. Very good mix of country music, with a touch of gospel. I highly recommend it.

The music on this project is so addictive to listen to. The heart ache and passion in each song stayed with me for days after first listening to it. Why aren't they on the mainstream country stations!?
