This is mostly scenery music; it drifts by slowly, lingering long enough for you to take a good look at it. The pace is leisurely and the mood usually peaceful and uplifting. There are exceptions, but even the noisey bits have a sense of quietness and tranquility to them.

A touch of melancholy here and there, a wistful feeling, but no doom and gloom. I won't add to the burden of darkness in the world. Mine is the music of light. All my songs have happy endings.

Gratia et pax Christi exultet in corde tuo.

"Raymond Scott Woolson has delivered a beautiful guitar-based CD. The music revolves around a central chord progression motif which Woolson develops employing a lush combination of delay and volume washes. It's a peaceful ambience that evolves and flows over the course of the CD and makes for wonderful, quiet mood music that, for me anyway, feels quite uplifting. Highly recommended."

If you're a fan of Slowdive's Pygmalion album, Auburn Lull, or July Skies, then this is the album for you. Raymond creates beautiful soundscapes that have a truly beautiful haunting quality.
