How Did I Miss This?!
author: Paddy
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this album! Bought it from CD Baby in 2005 and totally forgot to leave a review! I was too busy listening to this incredible band deliver sounds so good that you can SMELL them through your ear goggles while Wordblender gets you thought hammered with magical poetic cocktails. "Montezuma" is my absolute favorite off this CD and a perfect example to start with for you looking to see if you'd dig this audio outing.

brilliant piece of work

It is a pleasure to keep pace with this cd. Time and again I submit, play it loud and repeat. The lyrics poignant, the music intimate, the effect pure genius. May and The Full Nut Explosion deliver with raw energy and entertainment seldom captured by recording. It is as amusing as it is maddening, spontaneous yet critically complete. The quintessential experience.

Five Stars
author: James Duckworth
This CD is worth 5 stars as far as I’m concerned. I only give 4 or 5 stars. When I was young my mother said that if you do not have anything good to say then don’t say nothing at all. So, if I buy a CD and I am sorry I did that…my response is to not rate it at all. If I am glad I got it I give it 4 stars. If I am overjoyed that I bought that CD it gets 5 stars.

DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS SPECTACULAR DISC.
author: McLarin; music fan, critic, artist
Having seen Wordblender live in Seattle on several occassions I was interested to hear they were releasing a live disc. Their live show is so fascinating, both musically and visually, that I wondered how it would translate. I'm pleased to report that the result is exceptional. There are several keys that make the versions on "Live On Sonarchy Radio" so memorable. First is the musicianship: "the Full Nut Explosion" is not just some generic backing band, these guys come to play and on this recording they bring their "A" game. The second is the interplay between the band - you can feel and hear them feeding off each other and pushing each other. Bringing the whole to a higher level. Lastly is the fact that they've been playing live together for nearly a year and the songs have been fleshed out - expanded and improved.
"Live On Sonarchy Radio" is a magnificent disc - don't miss this one. (A steal at this price!) It may now be my favorite of the bunch.
