Album Notes

If you read the lyrics, it..s a bit difficult to see how they are all thematically tied together, Songs about killing rapists & castrating child molestors to songs about what else...women(and sluts) and relationships, cowardly pricks who can..t stand up for themselves and our modern world, how does it all tie together? Well, on the surface it seems fairly straightforward in songs like a sight for sore eyes and victimization pt.1&2, the physical conflict and violence of the lyrics, but it goes deeper, these are all things that we think about when we hear about rape and molestation but we don..t ever act, because in doing so we would be breaking the law and become criminals ourselves, but is one better than the other?? that..s for you, the listner, to decide,The conflict between right and wrong, and deciding the lesser of two evils is a strong theme. On more personally themed songs such as deadweight , Prism and coach we face the conflict inherent in relationships,Why does it seem that I am invisible to you? why did I devote so much of myself to someone who didn..t reciprocate? Why did I give you so much of my time? How could I treat you so well and then have you go gangbang.....nevermind(haha) You get the picture, relationships, conflicts that everyone can relate to. In Know You Place, we call out a douche who was running his mouth about us, when confronted, he got his mommy to call us and tell us we were bad. we embraced the conflict he started and when it came time to back up his mouth, he ran away like a little bitch, so physical literal conflict is another theme. Lastly, in A precusor and The waking thoughts of the constant dreamer we face this question: "Do our surroundings cause us to dwell on and sometimes accept or even embrace the evil around us, or is it our own human, sinful minds that cause the evil in our surroundings? Where did it start and how does it end? A mental and spiritual conflict that there may never be an answer to. So all of these different, semingly unrelated things somehow make more sense when viewed through our eyes and I genuinely hope that this will help you, our fans and friends to grasp the mesages that we want you to hear in our debut album
